Meeting

Standard

Suzie set up a meeting between her, Captain Cattitude, and Peter to discuss her findings regarding the Shadow Cat Warriors and their warning to the occupants of this ship. “Captain Cattitude I have disturbing news regarding the SCW’s.  They have found us and demand we turn over Shadow to them or they will blow up our ship,” said Suzie to Captain Cattitude and Peter. “I was afraid of this.  I knew their ship was faster and more technologically advanced.  We need to determine if we can catwarp out of here and lose them to buy some time,” said Captain Cattitude. “Captain Catttidue we are almost near a launch down with Planet X.  I believe we can hideout on the planet than we can in space.  I suggest we somehow figure out how to get there quicker,” said Peter. “That’s an excellent idea,” said Suzie. Captain Cattitude assigned Peter the task of figuring out how to make the catwarp faster.  Even though he was unfamiliar with the ship, Peter was the most qualified to figure it out. “We have little precious time to waste, Peter her are the schematics of the catwarp drive.  I trust you can figure out a solution.  We do not want to turn over Shadow to the SCW’s. They surely will kill her,” said Captin Cattitude…

Sixth Sense

Standard

Suzie woke up with a knot in her stomach and the sense something was wrong. She immediately got dressed and headed to the Teleconference Room. She put on her earphones and began to listen for signals from outer space. Turning the knob slowly, she began t;o pick up signals. Her heart stopped. Deep in the space noise was a signal from Shadow Cat Warriors. it stated “Captain Cattitude there Is no sense in running. We know where you are going. Our ship is faster and is a warship. We will shoot you down if you don’t turn over Shadow to us. You have three hours to comply. Please make the right decision” said the SCW Captain. Suzie felt the knot in her stomach grow. She needed to tell Captain Cattidude that they have been found and need to figure out what to do with the threat…

Mind-Reading

Standard

Shadow was at the dining room table when she noticed she was starting to hear everyone’s thoughts in her head again, just like what happened when she first learned she could read minds. She took Captain Cattitude to the side to tell him it was happening again. “Looks like we need to some training refresh on how to control the mind-reading,” said Captain Cattitude to Shadow in a whisper as so not to scare the crew she was doing it again.

Shadow and Captain Cattitude excused themselves from the table and made their way to Captain Cattitude’s room. “Remember, how you controlled it last time?” said Captain Cattitude. He continued: “try doing that now.” Shadow began to concentrate on Captain Cattitude’s mind only. At first, she was not hearing anything then out of the blue she heard the word “Shadow” coming from Captain Cattitude’s mind. “You are thinking my name,” said Shadow. “Do you hear the other’s crew’s thoughts?” said Captain Cattitude. “No,” just yours,” said Shadow. “Congratulations, you have remembered how to control it. I am so proud of you,” said Captain Cattitude. “Now, let’s get back to the rest of the crew, so they do not suspect anything. The last thing we need them to know is you can read their minds,” said Captain Cattitude…

A Day in the Life

Captain Cattitude and Shadow met in his room to begin her refresher training on her special skills she inherited from Egyptian cats in-breeding with Catmoonians. First on the agenda was levitating re-fresh. Captain Cattitude reminding Shadow that she needed to concentrate on thinking solely of levitating for Sharky, her spirit animal. “Think about levitating and nothing else. Tell your mind to focus on levitating and pray to Sharky and ask for help in achieving the goal,” said Captain Cattitude. “Ok,” said Shadow. She sat on the floor Indian style and empty her mind of all other thoughts. “levitate… levitate…. levitate… Sharky I need your help. Please help me to levitate,” said Shadow aloud in her head. Her body began to rise of the floor. She kept repeating the thoughts. Soon she was off the floor completely and high in the air. Captain Cattitude began clapping. “That’s it. You remembered. Keep it up,” said Captain Cattitude. “Now, think about coming back down. Pray to Shaky and ask for his guidance Remember, you can’t do this alone. You need a higher power,” said Captain Cattitude. Shadow began to concentrate on coming back down to the ground. She struggled at first. She kept up the process asking Sharky for his help. An hour passed and she still was not coming back down to the ground. Shadow never gave up. Finally, she began to ascend. Captain Cattitude began clapping again, “Congrats, you now have that skill under your belt. Tomorrow we will practice on your ability to become invisible,” said Captain Catttidue.

Meanwhile, in other parts of the spaceship, Peter was finalizing the plan for where and how the spaceship was to land on Planet X. He found the perfect location and couldn’t wait to tell the rest of the crew. Suzie was listening for communication from L the Catmoon Shadow Warriors who were determined to kill Shadow as they believed she posed a threat to the Universe. Luckily, Suzie still hadn’t heard in communication from the CSW. Phoebe was busy making lunch. Everything, for now, seemed calm and perfect, but a storm is brewing…

A Day in the Life of Space Travel

Standard

Shadow and Captain Cattitude were scheduled to meet today to go over the special skills she inherited from the breeding of Egyptian cats and Catmoonian cats. Her first task was to practice levitating. It had been a while since Shadow had levitated. She knew she had to concentrate on seeing herself levitate to start the process. So she could be prepared for Captain Cattitude, she tried practicing levitating on her own. She was able to achieve a little bit of levitating before she fell to the ground, She knew she needed help again in using this skill. She eagerly awaited the refresher training.

Phoebe was in the kitchen pushing buttons and dispensing food, She placed each plate on the table for the crew to eat. She also made fresh-squeezed orange juice. Suzie was listening for any possible communication from the Catmoon Shadow Warriors. She heard none. Peter was reviewing the topography maps of Planet X looking for a safe and habitable place to land. He found a spot he thought would work perfectly. He showed Captain Cattitude and he agreed it was the perfect place for them to land…

The List

Standard

Captain Cattitude gave Suzie the chore list as they await their arrival to Planet X. Suzie noted most of the chores were just to keep the crew busy and to keep their mind off the fact that the Catmoon Shadow Warriors are out to destroy the ship. Suzie gathered the crew around and said this: “Shadow you are to work with Captain Cattitude on learning your skills. Phoebe, you are to make the food for the crew. Peter, you are to monitor the airwaves for any transmissions coming from the CSW’s, and I am to look over the topography maps of Planet X and look for a safe and secure location to land,” said Suzie. “Are there any questions?” concluded Suzie. Pheobe raised her hand. She was concerned she was not capable of making the food for the entire crew. Suzie assured her most of the food making was just pushing buttons to dispense the food. The other food prep should be easy. Captain Cattitide nad stocked the ship with food from Earth as well as the prepped food from Catmoon. He was sure they had enough food to last three months. After that, they would have to search for food on Planet X…

“I have plotted a course for Planet X. We should reach the planet in ten days. The atmosphere will not require breathing apparatus. We will be able to breathe freely. The planet also has vegetation, so we will not run out of food. In the meantime, I need all of you to be patient and be on guard. Although, I have plotted a course to the planet. The Catmoon Shadow Warriors may already be following us. Hopefully, that is not the case,” said Captain Cattitude to the already scared crew aboard his ship. “I need all of you to cooperate with me if this is to be a successful operation. Shadow and I will be practicing her powers as we may need them if we have to battle the CSW’s. Suzie, you are in charge of the crew while Shadow and practice. Please make sure everyone is doing their assigned tasks in a timely manner. I will give you the tasks I have assigned to each crew member this afternoon,” continued Captain Cattitude. “Of course, said Suzie. I would be honored to be in charge of your crew. Whatever you need to be done we will get done,” said Suzie…

Planet X

Standard

Captain Cattitude headed to the front of the ship to plot a destination to planet X. After he entered the coordinates, he prayed that they would not be found by the Catmoon Shadow Warriors. He knew they were at a disadvantage as they were not a warship. Captain Cattitude went to Earth on a peace-making mission. They did not expect the Earth to be hostile toward him. Now, not only were they running from the United States government, but they now have to deal with the CSW’s hunting them down. He hoped Planet X provided the protection they needed. He did know this about Planet X’s atmosphere was safe to breathe, so now they didn’t have to worry about having to wear air filters to breathe. He breathed a heavy sigh realizing how grateful he was for that. Now, to tell the crew they would reach their destination in ten days even at Meow Warp Speed…

Catmoon Shadow Warriors

Standard

After Baudelaire was placed in the cybernetic preservation tube, Captain Cattitude had an announcement for the crew. “Everybody, please gather around. I have some important news to pass on to you. The President of Catmoon informed me they believe the ship was sabotaged. They said they uncovered intelligence that Catmoon Shadow Warriors were behind the plan that none of you were to wake up from the Deep Sleep, especially Shadow. They feel the Shadow is a massive threat to the purity of Catmoonians. They want her dead.
CSW is not happy they failed. They are sending a ship to destroy ours. We need to figure out where we should go to hide. I have looked over the terrestrial maps, and there is a planet not that far from us where we could hide there until the CSW is brought under control. We have food to last us the three-month journey left to Catmoon. We may not have enough for the trip to the other planet. This ship is not a warship. I’m afraid we have no choice but to run to this planet and pray they don’t find us…

Cybernetic Goodbyes

Standard

Today, Captain Cattitude is putting Bauldelaire into deep cybernetic preservation until they can bring him back to Earth to bury him. A funeral of sorts was performed before he was put in the cybernetic tube. “Here lies Bauldealire a dog of dogs that always protected the weak. His heart knew no bounds when it came to protecting the innocent. He performed his work well and with a dedication to the department and its people. May you rest in peace, Bauldelire, ” said Suzie. Shadow was beyond herself.. She cared for Baulderaire deeply. She burst out crying. Phoebe was next to Shadow and both held each other’s hands as sad meows and tears came down their furry faces. Peter was trying to be strong, but tears were running down his face. Suzie was now the one in charge of the group. It was a heavy responsibility to protect Shadow, Pheobe, and Captain Cattitude. After Baudelaire was temporarily laid to rest, Captain Cattidue said the following: We have a long journey ahead of ourselves. We will prevail in our struggles. We will succeed in our endeavors. Baudelaire will forever be In our hearts. He was everyone’s heart here. I wanted to let you know I have yet to hear back Catmoon regarding our situation here. Be assured, we will be okay. I will get you to Catmoon and back to Earth as promised,” he said. Everyone clapped at Captain Cattitude’s speech. They knew they were going to be okay under Captain Cattitude’s direction…
