“We can’t take any chances with Captain Cattitude.  We don’t know what his agenda is and if his kind will be a threat to mankind,” said President Trump opening the weekly meeting of Operation Milky Way, a meeting to discuss and prepare for Captain Cattitude’s arrival.  “That’s not fair.  You don’t even know if he is a threat.  I think we should welcome him with open arms,” said a disgusted Shadow.  Baudelaire said, “We don’t know his purpose for coming to Earth and why he contacted you, Shadow, out of all the population on Earth.  WE don’t even know if the message was meant for you or if you interrupted it’s delivery to someone else.  Where did you get the interactive satellite dish anyway?” ‘We have never seen such a device,” Baudelaire continued. “I built it with spare electronic parts that  had been lying around our apartment, said a proud Shadow. “We need to discuss how we are going to prepare.  I think we should show force.  Let these Aliens know they can’t mess with mankind,” interrupted President Trump. “Using force has never got us anywhere, except the U.S. engaging in a useless war.  If they are a threat, we have no idea what weapons of mass destruction they have.  I believe, it is a risk to show force.  If we greet them with open arms, I think will have better success with this historical meeting.” said Shadow.  “You’re just a kitten.  What do you know?” quipped President Trump.  “What a bozo,” thought Shadow to herself as she realized the world was going to show Captain Cattitude how we respond to the unknown with fear and force.  “We are in trouble,” she mumbled aloud.  It’s agreed we will have a military presence at this meeting, said righteously by President Trump.  “This meeting is adjourned until next week.  Hopefully, the code will be known by then. Let us pray it’s not threatening,” said a visibly scared President trump.
