Huh?\u201d said shadow. Stop doing that, snarled Phoebe at Shadow.&nbsp; \u201cSorry I don\u2019t know what this is happening,\u201d said a skittish Shadow.&nbsp; \u201cI\u2019ll tell you about what you are experiencing during training today, \u201csaid Captain Cattitude. When everyone was done with their meal, each one went their separate ways. Shadow and Captain Cattitude retired to his room to begin more training. \u201cAs I told you this is a difficult power to master. You\u2019re in the beginning stages where you read minds not knowing you are doing it,\u201d said Captain Cattitude.\u201cYou should get more control over it after today\u2019s session.&nbsp; \u201cNow shall we begin, but this time don\u2019t move your tail and ears&nbsp; It is not necessary for you to do this once you grasp how to do it,\u201d said Captain Cattitude.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Shadow tried to read Captain Cattitude\u2019s mind but it was not working.&nbsp; After two hours, she was beginning to feel like she was broken.&nbsp; \u201cWhy can\u2019t I do this when I want to do it?\u201d Shadow said as she became increasingly frustrated with herself. \u201cRelax your mind and focus on mine.&nbsp; \u201cYou can do this. You have the gift in you,\u201d Shadow tried again.&nbsp; She started hearing the word watermelon in her head.&nbsp; \u201cYou\u2019re thinking watermelon,\u201d said a proud Shadow.&nbsp; \u201cYou did it.&nbsp; You really did it.&nbsp; What am I thinking now?\u201d he asked. \u201cHow nice it would be to go outside,\u201d said Shadow.&nbsp; \u201cVery good.&nbsp; You think you have the hang of it? \u201csaid Captain Cattitude. &nbsp;\u201cI think I do,\u201d said Shadow. &nbsp;\u201cOk, I think you had enough for today.&nbsp; You should feel wiped out.
