Captain Cattitude, Suzie, Peter, Baudelaire, Shadow, and Phoebe has been in orbit around the Earth for five days now. They still have not found a safe house. Everyone’s mood, for the most part, is ok except for Phoebe who is still processing grief over the death of her owner due to COVID 19. Shadow has been trying to comfort her but Phoebe’s grief is deep, and Shadow hasn’t been able to help her feel better. Captain Cattitude has been making noise about taking everyone to Catmoon. So far, no one is for that but it may have to be an option…
Captain Cattitude began to run down the ship’s corridor’s to the pilot’s seat with the others coming up from behind. Captain Cattitude reached the captain seat. He made a hand-gesture then a drop-down heads up display appeared in mid-air. He sat in the chair and began to manipulate the display. Soon the ship starting to come to life. The engines began to engage and the ship began to ascend from earth. Cloaking technology was activated as the ship began to leave Earth’s atmosphere. Captain Cattitude asked everyone to take a seat and strap themselves in. The ship began to pick up speed and head out to orbit around Earth. “We should be safe now I turned on the cloaking device. No one will be able to find us via radar,” said Captain Cattitude. “Where are we going?” Captain Cattitude asked. “Good question,” said Suzie. “Peter were you able to find another safe house?” “I was still researching that when the government surprised us. i think this ship is the safest place we can be for now until we find another safe house,”said Peter. “How long can we stay in orbit?” said Peter to Captain Catttide. We have a two month supply of food. We could stay in orbit for two months.
After driving for a half-hour, Suzie spotted the location where Captain Cattitude had sent his spaceship up into space hidden for the government’s prying eyes. “Ok, we are here I believe.” “That was pretty fast,” said Peter. “Well, I was driving a 100 MPH,” said Suzie. “Captain Cattitude where is your ship,” asked Suzie. It’s up an orbit around your planet. I need to call it down. I suggest everyone stay in the van while I do this, so no one gets hurt,” said Captain Cattitude as he opened the door to the van and began to walk a short distance away. When Captain Cattitude reached his destination about a two-minute walk. He touched some buttons on his wrist band. Slowly the ship began to descend back down to Earth. Captain Cattitude made sure the ship’s blocking program was still running. In the car, Baudelaire was the first to notice the ship making its way down. “Look, there it is coming down slowly,” said Captain Cattitude. Once the ship was safely on the ground, everyone piles out of the van. Captain Cattitude was grinning ear to ear. He was so proud of his ship. “He pushed another button on his wrist band and the ship’s door opened. “Hurry everyone get in,” he said. Once everyone was safely in, Captain Cattitude walked into the spaceship and used a button on his wrist band to close the ship’s door. “Everyone follow me. Suzie made sure everyone was in the van, especially Shadow and Captain Cattitude. “Buckle up, it’s going to be a bumpy ride,” said Suzie. Peter, did you set the self-destruct program on all the servers and workstations?” We don’t want them knowing where we may be going,” said Suzie. “Yes, the protocol to wipe all the computers was done.,” said Peter. Suzie noticed the van was starting to become visible again. “Captain Cattitude, can you make the van invisible again? The van is becoming visible I’m afraid, “said Suzie. I would need Shadow’s help and right now I don’t think her mind could handle it. That was a powerful spell we used back there. But we can try. Captain Cattitude called shadow over to him. Shadow came but very slowly. her body was weakened by the spell. “We need to try the spell again. Focus on the van while we hold everyone’s hand in the van. Everyone grab each other’s hand. Hands were joined in the form of a snake slithering. Shadow and Captain Cattitude each touched the van while performing the required body movements. Within seconds, the van began to fade away and they could see the ground and the scenery around them. “How long will the spell last,” asked Suzie pleased with the results. “it will last up to a half-hour,” said Captain Cattitude. “Good, that should give us time to reach the plane hidden in the forest. “Why don’t you drive to where we left my spaceship? We would be safe in the spaceship,” said Captain Cattitude. Suzie said “Good idea. Where is your spaceship located?” “At the pickup point where you picked us up,” said Captain Cattitude. “That is about a half-hour away from where we just left,” said Suzie. As the group exited the cave, they took caution and looked all around before they stepped out of the cave Suzie took the lead and stepped out first. Her handgun drawn, Suzie stepped out of the cave to a vast opening of the snow-covered forest. She motioned for everyone to come out. With trepidation, the rest stepped out of the cave. They were amazed at how much snow was on the ground. “There they are. shoot to main if anyone tries to escape.” Shadow heard clearly in her head. She ran to Suzi, “Its a trap,” said Shadow to Suzie. I heard a voice in my head.
Suzie crept out of the cave and motioned for the others to follow. Suzie knew to stay in the house was not an option, and that they must make it to the van parked in front of the safe house. Captain Cattitude, said we must stop time, so we can get to the van. He quietly called Shadow over and told her what they must do. He whispered to the group to make a hand-holding circle. He and Shadow began to wiggle their noses move their tails back and forth and concentrate on stopping time. Captain Cattitude and Shadow began to take on the colors around them, soon they both were glowing green. Time had stopped. We must all run to the van while not breaking the circle. “All lead the way, “said Suzie. The group began to run to the van as fast as they could. Everyone tried to follow Suzie while holding hands and running to the van, but some of them were having a hard time keeping their balance. “There it is,” said Suzie. Suzie inputted the numbers in the door lock. The van unlocked. Everyone got in as fast as they could. Once, all were in, Suzie said, “Everyone buckle up, It may be a scary ride out of here. Suzie and everyone started to panic. “They have found us. everyone go to your rooms and put on your hazmat suits. Then meet me back here,” said Suzie. Everyone dispersed and ran to their bedrooms to put on the hazmat suits.
Once their suits were on, everyone ran back to the dining room. Suzie was there in her hazmat suit with a terrified look on her face. “We need to make it to the secret floor built into the building. First, we need to take the elevator down to a lower level 2. “Please follow me as quickly as possible to the elevator. I will leave the way,” said Suzie. The group made their way to the elevator and got on and Suzie entered a code via the touchscreen on the left side of the elevator. Immediately, the elevator started going down. Shadow and Captain Cattitude you have my permission to use your powers if it helps and harms no one to escape. The elevator door opened, Suzie stepped out of the elevator first to make sure there weren’t governmental agents on the floor. “All clear. You can come out.” Reluctantly the rest of the group got out of the elevator. Phoebe was crying at this point. She was afraid for Shadow and Captain Cattitude. “It’s going to be alright, Phoebe,” said Shadow to her BFF. “Follow me, I know a secret exit out of the safe house,” said Suzie. Suzie began to jog-run down the corridors of the floor. Everyone followed suit. After running what seemed like a half-hour, Suzie stopped at a door labeled 119. In that room was an iris scanner. Suzie stepped up to the scanner. Immediately a secret door slid open in the room. Suzie motioned for everyone to follow her. They now were in a tunnel with sporadic lighting showing the way. Suzie stopped abruptly, She can to the end of the tunnel. There stood another door. “This is our way out; follow me. Suzie once again punched in a code to a numeric pad next to the door. Next, she stood up at eye level to have her iris read. The door opened to another corridor. Everyone followed Suzie down the corridor. The tunnel got brighter and brighter the deeper they went down it. Suddenly it opened up to a cave. “Be careful. There could be FBI agents everywhere…
Suzie noticed the security cam footage she looked at daily seem to show movement deep in the trees surrounding the safe house. She was alarmed by the movement. Could Captain Cattitue’s dream be right? Are we about to be invaded by the government? she thought. She decided she needed to wake up Peter and show him the footage. “Peter, are you awake? There’s something I need to show you,” said Suzie through the closed door to Peter’s room. “Yes, I am awake. Come on in, said Peter. “I need to show you something. I think we need to be prepared for an invasion by the government,” said Suzie. “Come with me to the computer room, and I’ll show you,’ said Suie as she walked toward his door. “Alright, let me get dressed. I’ll meet you in the computer room,” said Peter.
Suzie left his room and started walking to the computer room. She was faintly aware, she was starting to feel scared as she opened the door to the computer room. Peter came in shortly after. “Alright, show me what you got,” said Peter. “Look at this footage from two days ago, and the footage captured tonight. You see where there is movement in the images. “Do you see what I am talking about?” said Suzie. “Yes, I see the movement in the trees and I see this,” he said pointing to an image in the footage. “It looks like binoculars pointed in our direction,” said Peter. “OMG, I think you are right. We need to wake up the others and call an emergency meeting,” said Suzie.”Yes, I agree,” said Peter. “I’ll go wake up Baudelaire. Could you wake up the girls?” said Peter. “Sure, no problem,” said Suzie. Peter left the computer room and made the walk to Baudelaire’s room. Suzie left shortly after and starting walking to the girl’s room.
“I am sure you are all wondering why we have woke you up to have an emergency meeting tonight. The security cam footage show movement outside the safe house in the woods. In one footage taken tonight, a clearly visible telescope can be seen pointing toward our home. Captain Cattide got chills up and down his body. “They found us, haven’t they,” said Captain Cattitude. “I’m afraid you may be right. We need to make sure the house is locked down tight,” said Suzie and make our exit to the van outside and get away from here,” said Suzie.
Suddenly a loud, bullhorn voice was heard from coming outside. “We know you are in there Come out and surrender and none of you will be hurt. All we want is the Alien and shadow. Give them up and no one gets hurt.”…
Captian Cattitude had a dream that shook him to the bones He dreamt that the group had been captured by the government and he and Shadow were in examination rooms where the government has decided they were going to dissect them. Captain Cattitude was strapped down tight. He couldn’t move. Shadow was next to him and was just now getting strapped in. Shadow was meowing because the bands were too tight. Captain Cattitude said a prayer for both of them. As soon as he finished the prayer, the doctors came back and began to make a cut on his stomach. That’s when Captain Cattitude woke up scared out of his mind. We need to move on he thought. He would bring it up to the group.
Phoebe slept soundly. Shadow did not want to wake her up. Shadow took a shower and got dressed. She hoped breakfast was going to something speciial. She made her way to the dining room table where breakfast was already laid out on the table It was a speical breakfast. It consisted of creapes, fruitcups, bagels, and orange juice and coffee. Shadow was thrilled She loved it when Suzie made breakfast. “Good morning everyone,” said Shadow. “Good morning everyone eched back. Captain Cattitude who is normally early showed up late. He looked like he got hit by a truck. There were dark spots below his eyes, his fur was matted and he had this farway look. “Are you alright,” said Peterr. “Yes, um NO I am not,” said Captain Cattitude. ‘We need to move on from this safe house. I’m afriad we are all at risk. I had a dream that the government found us because of our reaching out we did regarding our family members and COVID 19,” I’m afriad they are coming any day now.” said Captain Cattitude “You’re basing this on a dream?” said baudelaire sarcastically. “Yes i am,’ said Captain Cattitude. “That’s ridiculous,” chimed in Peter. No, it is not Catmoonians have dreams based on future events. They are our early warning sign of things to come. This is coming and soon,” said an emotionally charged Captain Cattitiude. “What do you propose we do?” said Suzie. “Leave, the sooner the better,” said Captain Cattitude. “That’s not exactly easy to do We have to find a new safe house. It took months for us to find this place,” said Peter. “Were there any backups to this place that still mght be available?” said Captain Cattitude. “I am telling you this is serious. WE NEED TO MOVE ON!” said CAptain CAttitude. “Where would we go?” said Shadow now getting spooked about Captain Cattitude revealation.

Nonetheless, I will look into this and report back to the group,” said Suzie. In the meantime, we need to have food delivered. We are running out which means we all need to put on a hazmat suit when the food comes. I was going to have the food delivered on Friday in the afternoon which would give us plenty of time to put on the hazmat suits. “Does anyone have problems with this time?” Everyone nodded their head no. “Good then we will have food delivered this Friday..” said Suzie.
It was evening in the safe house. Everyone finished dinner in silence as they awaited the COVID 19 update from Bouledevaire. Suzie broke the silence Well, I think we all know what we are waiting for – Bauldelaire can you begging your COVID `19 update for the group” said Suzie. “Yes, of course. I have good news and bad news once again. Suzie your family is still COVID 19 clear. Peter your wife is still testing negative for COVID 19. Shadow your owner is fine. Phoebe, my dear, your owner is now on respiratory.” A silence fell over everyone. They were all worried Phoebe would crack. Instead, she stared into a spot on the wall, trying to avoid what she just heard. “Phoebe I speak for all of us We are all here for you. Please reach out to anyone of us if you need to talk. Suzie interjected at this moment, “I think we should do the meditation you talked about Captain Cattitude. I think we all could use it,” she said. “Of course, everyone please place your feet flat on the ground and sit upright. Place your hands in your lap. Once everyone has done that I will begin the meditation. Everyone ready?” said Captain Cattitude. Everyone nodded their head yes except for Phoebe. She was still staring into space. “Good, I will begin,” said Captain Cattitude.
“The trail is covered with crunchy leaves and as you walk down the tree-lined, dusk-lit path, you notice the sky is purple and the stars shine so bright. You realize you are not on earth but Catmoon. This scares you for a bit but you soon realize you are safe. You continue down the path looking at the wonder of the star-lidden purple sky. You notice on the horizon two bright spots they are coming clearer and brighter as the twilight turns to day. You are drawn to this light. You walk in its direction. A feeling overcomes you, and you are filled with love and happiness. Your body starts to relax from your head to your toes. You decide to lay down on a grassy part of the trail and look at the two rising suns’ rays as they begin to beat down on your body. You feel complete and loved. You fall into a deep state of peace. There is no war, no fathoms nor pandemics. You realize you are safe in God’s worlds. Nothing can hurt or harm you. As you make the wy back own the path back to the beginning, you have a sense of warmth and love. You may now come back to the room when you are ready,” said Captain Cattitude.
Everyone came back to the room. Everyone that is, except for Phoebe. She lay face down on the table snoring. It was decided that everyone would go to their room and reflect on the experience. Baudelaire carried Phoebe back to her room and placed her in her bed…
