Getaway Isolation Day 60

As the group exited the cave, they took caution and looked all around before they stepped out of the cave Suzie took the lead and stepped out first. Her handgun drawn, Suzie stepped out of the cave to a vast opening of the snow-covered forest. She motioned for everyone to come out. With trepidation, the rest stepped out of the cave. They were amazed at how much snow was on the ground. “There they are. Shoot to main if anyone tries to escape.” Shadow heard clearly in her head. She ran to Suzi, “Its a trap,” said Shadow to Suzie. “I heard a voice in my head.”

Suzie crept out of the cave and motioned for the others to follow. Suzie knew to stay in the house was not an option, and that they must make it to the van parked in front of the safe house. Captain Cattitude said, “We must stop time, so we can get to the van.” He quietly called Shadow over and told her what they must do. He whispered to the group to make a hand-holding circle. He and Shadow began to wiggle their noses move their tails back and forth and concentrate on stopping time. Captain Cattitude and Shadow began to take on the colors around them, soon they both were glowing green. Time had stopped. We must all run to the van while not breaking the circle. “All lead the way, “said Suzie. The group began to run to the van as fast as they could. Everyone tried to follow Suzie while holding hands and running to the van, but some of them were having a hard time keeping their balance. “There it is,” said Suzie. Suzie inputted the numbers in the door lock. The van unlocked. Everyone got in as fast as they could. Once, all were in, Suzie said, “Everyone buckle up, It may be a scary ride out of here. Shadow and Captain Cattitude were starting to go back to their natural colors. The power was wearing off.

“Hurry, the power is wearing off. Soon they will see us. Drive as fast as you can. We have about five minutes before the spell wears off and we will be seen.” said Captain Cattitude.

Suzie started the van with another code inputted on the steering wheel and an iris scan. The van roared to life. She put her foot to the pedal and sped away from the safe house. She wondered where they most go to be safe. They will be after us as soon as they realize the van is gone, thought Suzie…
